2024has been another amazing year at Kokoro Karate Dojo.
Along with continuing to steadily increase student numbers at our current locations we also;
- We opened our fabulous new dojo for Seniors only at Leicester Age Uk which has already grown to twelve members of which two are black belts who came out of karate retirement to rekindle their passion
- November saw the opening of another great dojo at Cowslip Meadow in Laughton
- Held numerous Kyu Gradings and Black Belt Gradings
- Put on numerous free karate taster days for Beavers, Scouts, Schools, etc… across Leicestershire
We taught karate in our dojos for a total of 846 hours which equates to a staggerring 50,760 minutes or 3,045,600 seconds, each and every second was spent improving our techniques, fitness, stamina, reactions, speed and learning new kata and skills.
Thank you to each and every one of you who have contributed to the wonderful karate family that we are, for the gallons of sweat, the tons of effort and the acres of joyful memories we have made.
We are looking forward to a great 2025 with eager anticipation
