Kokoro Karate Dojo Kyu Grading

Congratulations to all who graded today. As you can see from the photographs everyone had a very sweaty session which proves their commitment, high levels of effort and determination to succeed

Sarah Miles and and Adam Gaskell completed their last kyu grading. We will be pushing really hard over the coming months to steer you towards your next level of Shodan Kuro Obi (first dan black belt).

Sharon Terry showed some excellent kumite skills and demonstrated her increasing knowledge and ability in her kihon and kata categories.

Nell Marshall and Trafford Marshall worked really hard too. Both had very strong performances across all categories and deserve their new kyu status.

Onward and upward to the next level with new katas to learn, more kihon combinations and further development of your kumite. Don’t forget, it is not a race so we will progress and build your development at a rate to suit you all.
