Just finished a super couple of days volunteering at Kibworth Primary Playscheme. I had an awesome time and judging by the noise and excitement generated by the children they did too.
There was 59 children spread over 6 groups, aged 3 to 11 who all enjoyed learning some fundamental karate techniques, playing some fun karate centred games and had a great time punching pads, learning to count in Japanese and learning how to Kiai (some of you were very loud and very scary!).
It was a great honour to be invited back to help again this year and I look forward to helping out again in the coming years.
Thank you to the organisers and fellow volunteers who have worked so hard to make this a highly organised, successful but most of all, fun event. Oh and thank you for the lovely cup too, I will drinking my morning cup of tea with fond memories.
